With A Simple Pair of Eyeglasses, The World Comes Into Focus

To expand their already successful charity-meets-fashion business, TOMS has recently
released a line of eyewear. The collection will continue the signature TOMS One for One© program.

Black Mycoskie, founder of TOMS has already made his mark on the fashion industry after only four short years. From shoes to eyewear, Mycoskie is dedicated to helping those in need.

"Sight is a fundamental need. The loss of sight has a dramatic impact on a person's life
-- and on his or her family and community,” Mycoskie shared in an interview with the
Huffington Post. “We're so excited to help more people in need and for TOMS to give in
a whole new way."

Working with Sight Giving Partners, TOMS organizes eye test screenings and is able
to not only treat eye diseases, but also give eyeglass prescriptions. With every pair you
purchase, TOMS will help give sight to one person in need: One for One©.

What makes TOMS eyewear special is the signature design. Each pair has three hand-painted stripes on the temples that represent the three elements of “One for One.”

How the One for One Movement works.
The first stripe is personally chosen and represents you. The last stripe represents the
person you are giving eyesight to. And the middle stripe symbolizes TOMS, the bond between the customer and the person being helped. There are three different styles to choose from: Classic 101, a look inspired by Ray Ban Wayfarers, Classic 201 which are round and oversized or Classic 301 aviators. Each pair is sold for $135 and is imported from Italy.

Not sure what style fits you the best? Try TOMS Virtual Try-On to see whether you’re more of a wayfarer or aviator wearer.
