Oh yes, the fashion industry is bringing sexy back…yet again. I am sure that you have noticed the backless apparel phenomena. From day to night these all bearing shirts and dresses are popping up left and right! My thoughts? I think they are one bandwagon I am more than proudly going to hitch a ride on.
These hard to miss trendy tops are sure to make a statement, not only to others, but to yourself as well. There is no denying it, women want to feel sexy. Sure there is always the long legged beauties out there, but I guarantee that showing off your usually unappreciated backs will give you the sex appeal and confidence you need.

Some of you out there might be questioning when and where these statement tops are appropriate to be worn. I went around Arizona State University and asked some of the trendiest women I could find.
One fashionable student, Kat Etzel, commented, “ I think that women’s backs are probably one of the sexiest parts of the woman body. Wearing a backless shirt is a way to show off some skin without offending people. I think they should be worn if you’re going out, shopping with friends, or if you’re going on date. But the shirts should not be worn at work or around co-workers.”

If you are planning on wearing a backless top or dress to work you might want to consider covering up the not-so-modest opening with a structured blazer or jacket.
Ladies, sexy is in. But please, be somewhat modest with your choice of bottom when sporting the backless look. Other than that, don’t be shy! As Cristina Gibson of E! Fashion Police stated, “Either way, she looks hot and it's clear that skin is in this season”
