If you haven't seen the psychological thriller yet, you definitely should. Natalie Portman does a great job as a prima ballerina in Black Swan and as a dancer myself I was able to admire some of the fashion that we can thank because of the movie. While feathers are always in, I think the route that some designers took to put together inspired swan looks without necessarily using feathers was also a great approach. Soft pinks, white and black seem to be the consensus to look as beautiful as a swan. Of course we can't forget there's a mixture of a ballet inspired look as well but the mixture of the two is a great combination. So when you think of animal inspired clothes, lets not only think of the tigers, cheetahs and feathers, you have to keep in mind that there are things out there that aren't as direct but still animalistic. Chanel's Spring 2011 collection perfectly exhibits that.
Keep it classy darling fashionistas,
