Louboutin From Heel to Toe

If we can judge a book by it’s cover, we can bet that Christian Louboutin’s upcoming book is going to be a knockout.
A look at the book's cover.
Christian Louboutin is releasing his very own book, and it has to be pretty impressive considering he managed to get names like John Malkovich and David Lynch to collaborate with him. Other icons are also said to have contributed to Louboutin’s piece.

Aside from the usual lackluster story lines and little originality expected from the hundreds of other biographies and stories seemingly similar, this is forecasted to be a coffee table gem.

Behind the delicate, feminine cover is a variety of photos, stories, flashbacks and everything else Louboutin. The chapters will be divided into sections of Louboutin’s life, such as a biography, outline of work done with other well-known designers and brands, a peek at personal pictures and videos and an overview of some of his famous and always-fabulous shoes. There is a wonderful mix of the commercial side to his shoes as well as his travel, home, and personal life.

Did I mention that there is a complete collection of all 120 of Louboutin’s shoe designs? If that’s not reason alone to sit and drool over a book like this, I don’t know what is! If only we could order pairs of our own straight from the pages...

“This stunning volume, with a fanciful and intricate pop-up, an elaborate foldout cover, and dramatic still-life photography, evokes the artistry and theatricality of Louboutin's shoe designs,” according to Barnes & Noble.

The book is currently available for pre-order on the Barnes & Noble website for $97.50, and is set to be released Oct. 25

Another thing to look forward to is the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection of Louboutin shoes expected to be launched in a few months.
