ELLE Magazine--Style A To ZEE

I’ve always loved ELLE magazine because of everything it has to offer. This mag covers everything such as the latest style trends in fashion from some of the newest and  most classic designers. This magazine also includes trends seen in hair and makeup as well.

One of the articles that I look forward to reading about every month is Style A to ZEE. This article is fashion advice from Creative Director of ELLE,  Joe Zee who actually has a great deal of fashion experience. He’s worked with labels such as DKNY, H&M, Gap, Kenneth Cole, Banana Republic and Chanel. Zee has even appeared on shows such as “Ugly Betty,” “Gossip Girl” and more recently reality shows like “Stylista” and “The City”. Zee has even just recently started a reality show of his very own, entitled “All on the Line” which appears on the Sundance Channel.

Every time I read a new article of Zee’s I always end up learning something new. In ELLE’s April issue, featuring cover girl Amanda Seyfried, Zee advises to forget fashion rules! He explained how fashion is an expression and style is an art and that it’s not about what fashion should be, but what it could be. There is not right or wrong; when it looks a bit “off” that much the better. He closes with six “new rules” to live by.

You all should check this out.. it's pure genius!
