Earlier this evening five fashion journalists braved extreme temperatures (for Arizona) to attend one of the biggest Arizona State fashion events of the year: Sun Devils Wear Prada! Being our first year attending the soiree we were not sure exactly what to expect, but in the end we had a fantastic time full of great friends and lots of laughs! As you walked in your name was put into a raffle, sadly none of us were lucky to win any of the beauty products :( After that you were able to have a free color analysis which grouped us into specific categories that explained the colors of clothing that best accentuate our natural hair, eye and skin color. Dillards was there to do free make-up trials and they also provided the clothes that was modeled during the fashion show.
But before the show started, the lovely Shari Braendel, a noted christian speaker and author of Good Girls Don't Have to Dress Bad, spoke to us on how each of us are gorgeous! She was very moving when explaining how there is no need to put ourselves down and taught us how to dress better for your body.

In the end I would say the night was very successful! We learned how to dress for our bodies, the color choices that really pop on our skin and enjoyed some delicious free cupcakes!!
