Keep it Sweet, Valentine

Valentine's Day is special. Thus, it may require a little more effort put into your outfit choices. This is not a day for sweatpants and flip flops. Let your love for your Valentine and yourself be communicated by your outfit choices.
One rule to go by: overdress.  If you go to a movie or out for drinks with a loved one, your best jeans, a flirty top and heels are perfect.

In a more formal setting, such as dinner at a four-star restaurant, think cocktail dress. And not in black! Celebrate the colors of Valentine's Day and step out in any shade of pink or red. Keep accessories understated so that the focus remains on the dress.

              

I'm a believer in keeping it sweet when you go out. Save the vixen for the Hollywood stars...or the privacy of your own home.
