Katy Perry at the 2011 Grammys

This year at the 2011 Grammys Katy Perry decided to dress according to her angelic side by wearing a silver and jeweled dress. While Katy Perry could be gorgeous wearing a trash bag (PLEASE don't try the Ke$ha look Katy, you're much classier than that!) The look did not turn out as glamorous as expected. I have to admit I loved the bejeweled idea and the use of white, but I feel that the material was very cheap looking as well as not fully attached to her chest piece, thus making it look unfinished rather than a cut out. All and all I think the overall look was not acceptable for any red carpet event, but rather looked like a quickly thrown together Halloween outfit. Dear Katy, the next time you try to invent one of your latest unique costumes, keep this look out.
