With many of the world's supermodels coming from Australia it is the perfect place for "haute" fashion. Though Australia isn't particularly known for it's "daring" styles and trends, most fashion tends to focus on showcasing the beauty and femininity of Australian women and women around the world. You won't see many people wearing Gaga-like outfits here. Instead, on the runway, you will see more flourishing gowns and many looks that could be worn in spring time year round. At Rosemount Australia Fashion Week in May last year, there could be seen glorious, bright, eye-catching clothes as well as the flattering pale tones that many designers chose for their collections.
Australian designers are already looking ahead at the next big trends for spring/summer 2011 and it seems a big upcoming trend are bright, unique sunglasses such as the Fendi sunglasses being worn below. These sunglasses make a statement and can jazz up any simple outfit with little effort. They are also very modern looking, even futuristic you could say. This look is perfect for Australian fashion's fun and always flattering designs.
No matter what country you're in, there is sure to always be a new and unique style of dress to discover.
