FASHEMATICS.

I think we can all agree that fashion is a foundation that can stand on its own. Clothing is so much fun and, for lack of a better word, awesome because it can reflect your personality, your mood that day or evoke an emotion. We also need to recognize that fashion has many avenues. There is fashion photography, fashion editorial and fashion icons. But have you ever heard of fashion mathematics?

Fashematics is a refreshingly funny blog dedicated to mathematical equations that make up what designers send down the runway. So many critics and bloggers try to dissect each and every show, while Fashematics is all about poking fun in a lighthearted way. The equations get you thinking about fashion in a new light that is imperative if you want to see fashion from all perspectives. Here are some of my favorites:

Commes des Garcons, Fall 2010, Ready to Wear - Sidenote: I'm sorry, but the fact that this is deemed "ready to wear" is an insult to women everywhere. Where? Who? When? I just don't know... However, the creativity is splendid and I'm happy designers are still "going there".
